On a very snowy February 10th Jeph and I nearly died getting to BHS. Their selections are listed below the blog. The Ensemble seemed very clean and neat, no random people out of place running off stage cause they forgot music or anything, I would assume that the rules were very clearly laid out before the concert.

Glad you made it to the game. What do you mean off stage? Do you mean running back to the band room, or just leaving the stands? Did you also hear the National Anthem/O Canada?

ReplyDeleteThere was one occasion just before they were about to begin where one student had to run back to the band room (or where ever it is that they unpacked) to get their music just before the ensemble started to perform.
ReplyDeleteAs for "Oh Canada" and the national Anthem, At this stage its hard for me to remember all the rep they played, I only listen the ones that 1. stood out to me and 2. I knew the titles to. I would assume that they would have played the national anthem, but to be honest I don't remember.
That is the disadvantage of writing these blogs so far after the observation. I am glad that you are considering being in marching band next year at MSU, because you will gain a much better perspective on the value of a good pep band.
